About this game

Welcome to Stack Stampede, the stacking race where the pieces never fit! Everyone gets their own platform, and odd voxel pieces fall from above: a simit, a tea glass, a cat, a cow, a ferry and a whole bridge. Balance them, turn them to find a flat seat and build higher than everyone else before the clock runs out. Two of the same piece touching merge into the next one, bigger but heavier too. Chain merges into a combo to send wind, slippery pieces or a giant balloon to the leader. Learn it in 30 seconds and play a round in two and a half minutes: a quick match against bots, the daily tower with the same pieces for everyone, or a private room with up to 14 friends. When your tower comes down, watch it again in slow motion and share the clip. Controls are designed for desktop, mobile, tablet and gamepad.

How to play Stack Stampede

  1. Move the hovering piece with the mouse, the arrow keys, a finger or a gamepad, turn it with a right-click, the up arrow or the turn button, and drop it onto your platform.
  2. Land two of the same piece on each other to merge them: simit, tea glass, cat, cow, ferry, bridge. Each merge is bigger and heavier, so place it with care.
  3. Merge again within three seconds for a combo: x2 sends wind, x3 slippery pieces and x4 a giant balloon to the rival who is ahead. The tallest tower at the final whistle wins.

Highlights

  • Real physics with six odd voxel pieces that merge into each other, from a light simit to a ten-ton bridge.
  • Sabotage in versus rounds: wind that sways towers, slippery pieces and giant bouncy balloons sent to the leader.
  • A daily tower with the same piece order for everyone and a spoiler-free result grid to share, Wordle style.
  • Invite Friends opens a private room for up to 15 players with a code and a link; friends join instantly, with no sign-up. Slow-motion replays of every collapse, ready to save and share. Built-in voice chat for the whole room, Discord style.

Tips to win

  • Turn wide pieces flat before you drop them: a cow on its feet or a bridge on its pillars is a perfect base.
  • Merging is tempting but heavy: a ferry on top of a wobbly tower can bring it all down.
  • Wait a moment for the tower to settle before the next drop, especially when the wind blows.
