Dumpling Pop Tips: Shelf Strategy, Merging and Combos

Dumpling Pop looks like pure squishy ASMR, but your seven-slot shelf is where the real decisions happen. Every dumpling you pop sends a Pal hopping onto that shelf, so plan your threes instead of tapping blindly.
Each Common Pal has its own dough colour. Popping matching colours close together helps you line up three of a kind, which merges into a Big Pal for huge points. Land another merge within three seconds and you build a combo. The shelf is the risk: a Pal landing on a full shelf pushes the oldest one off and costs you points and your combo, unless it completes a three. So keep an eye on your open slots before you pop.
Special dumplings are tools. Hammer the Golden one. Let a Spicy one clear your shelf when it gets crowded. A Sleepy one can be held until it wakes up, which buys you time to set up a merge.
If the shelf feels tense, open the maker tray and fold your own with no limits: pick a dough, roll it thin or thick, scoop in any of six fillings, choose a crescent, purse or rose fold, pinch as many pleats as you want, dip it in a sauce and steam it. Thin wrappers turn translucent, an overfilled one bursts, and every dumpling is graded honestly out of 100.
There is no clock and the kitchen never closes, so there is no rush.
